Hue city was Vietnam’s ancient imperial capital and is where you can visit the incredible Citadel. Recognized as a Unesco World Heritage site, the Citadel was home to the Nguyen Emperors and royalty who left behind a treasure trove of palaces, pagodas, tombs, and temples dating back to the 1800s. It is located on the banks of the Perfume River, which flows through many beautiful areas of Hue.
